Blood typing reagents are used worldwide by hospital blood banks, clinical laboratories, and blood donor centers to detect and identify certain properties of human blood prior to patient transfusion. The raw material for blood typing reagents come from individual's who due to a prior exposure or genetics have developed an antibody. These antibodies are harvested and manufactured to produce blood typing reagents.

Rabies Immune Globulin as a prophylactic treatment following a possible exposure to rabies.
